Print of the Month - February - ‘Jeremy Joy’ - Coral - Mistle Thrush Original Linoprint

£35.00

This year I plan to create twelve original linoprints to reflect an element of each month. These may be linked to geography, folk lore, the natural world around me or world events (but all will contain an animal somewhere or the other!)

This is my print for February.

Mistle thrushes are some of the first birds to start singing each year, and earned the name ‘Jeremy Joy’ (a play on ‘January Joy’) due to their promptness. Mistle thrushes have also been called Mizzly Dick, big Mavis and Stormcock - such a good variety!

‘Jeremy Joy’ features two birds and foliage printed onto 250gsm buff Stonehenge paper with deckled edges.

There are two options available, chartreuse and coral. This listing is for coral.

The paper size is 5x5”.
